A prestigious Century City law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level legal assistant to join its Plaintiff Asbestos litigation team. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, some legal or office experience, and the ability to manage court filings, discovery, and case-related correspondence in a fast-paced environment. Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (½ hour unpaid lunch) Initial training period: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch Duration: Temp-to-Hire Responsibilities Handle court filings, including e-filing and physical filings when required Assist with discovery preparation and organizations Draft, proof, and send case-related correspondence Maintain and organize case files and calendars Support attorneys with case management tasks and trial preparation Requirements Bachelor's degree required Ideally 3-6 months or more of relevant legal or office experience (no more than 3-5 years) Ideally some e-Discovery experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal software a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skill All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
