Fortinet Network Administrator

The Fortinet Network Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions across enterprise network environments. This role plays a key part in maintaining the security, performance, and reliability of both IT and OT infrastructure while working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Fortinet security platforms including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager to maintain secure network operations and protect against cybersecurity threats
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet appliances in alignment with company standards, security policies, and industry best practices
• Assist with the design and implementation of networking infrastructure supporting both IT and OT environments
• Monitor network traffic, system health, and security events while troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and security-related issues
• Analyze network performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize reliability, scalability, and overall system performance
• Maintain accurate documentation related to network configurations, infrastructure changes, troubleshooting activities, and incident resolution
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to integrate Fortinet technologies into existing network environments
• Provide technical support, guidance, and knowledge transfer to internal users and support staff as needed
• Ensure network infrastructure and security operations remain compliant with company policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection requirements
