• Graphic Design Assistant## •### @RiverCatsPosted on 4/15/2026•Part-time## Job DescriptionThe River Cats are looking for a dynamic, driven, and skilled graphic design assistant. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, able to work within tight deadlines that requires the ability to deliver timely and creative design solutions. The marketing department is responsible for all visual communications including digital and traditional advertising, motion graphics, print, signage, merchandise, sales collateral, and anything else that dons the River Cats brand.Key Responsibilities:* Assist with the creative aspects for all River Cats branding and marketing materials including but not limited to videoboard content, digital assets, flyers, posters, sales sheets, and web graphics.* Ensure that brand standards and guidelines are consistently adapted across all content.* Work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload, with on-time and high-quality delivery.* Ability to work under tight/strict deadlines.* Understand the River Cats brand essence and create and develop impactful artwork and design to help increase attendance, revenue, and enhance the fan experience.* Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required.Qualifications:* 1-2 years of experience creating various types of media including digital and print. Preferably within a professional setting.* Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After Effects and Premiere Pro experience is a plus.* Current portfolio showcasing skills and recent work produced.* Able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.* Must have good organizational, communication, and writing skills.* Professional and positive attitude, ability to take direction and feedback from various sources.* Must work well in a team environment.* General knowledge of baseball.Education & Experience:* Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience in place of degree can be considered.Physical Requirements:* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.* Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.Compensation:This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected hourly pay range of $16.90 - $18.00.The Sacramento River Cats are an equal opportunity employer.
