Job Description
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Renovate existing electrical systems to meet current codes and standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Build and assemble electrical components and wiring systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to ensure efficient completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with high voltage equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid journeyman's license, as well as valid driver's license.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
