About This Role

Let’s be clear: this is not an entry-level “just-watching-for-now” kind of job. You’ll be in court, drafting pleadings, advising clients, and standing in the fire when needed. You'll also support other attorneys—because this is a team sport, not a solo act.

You don’t need to be a family law veteran. But you do need real courtroom experience, thick skin, and a strong sense of purpose. If you’ve ever looked around a courtroom and thought “I belong here” , you’re in the right place.

Preferred Qualifications: (aka: things that’ll make us smile when we see your name.) Licensed to practice in Kentucky (other states are a plus)

• At least 3 years of full-time litigation experience
• Familiarity with timekeeping, billing, and meeting productivity goals
• Family law, civil litigation, criminal defense or prosecutorial experience is ideal—but we’ll take fearless courtroom tacticians of any background
• Willingness to relocate to Louisville (if you’re nearby, we won’t hold the county line against you)

What You’ll Do:

• Show up in court and actually be good at it
• Draft pleadings that don’t need three rounds of edits
• Be the voice of reason to clients who are in chaos
• Collaborate with teammates like a human, not a silo
• Handle other things that come with growth—we’re not stagnant, and neither are you

Compensation + Bonuses:

This job comes with a competitive base salary ($85K) plus performance-based bonuses paid every pay period. Yes, every. Not yearly. Not quarterly. Every. Pay. Period.
