Community Medical Center is seeking a Physicist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department, supporting high‑quality, patient‑centered care across diagnostic and therapeutic services. In this role, you will apply principles of medical and health physics to ensure the safe, accurate, and effective use of radiation and advanced imaging technologies in a modern clinical environment. Working closely with physicians, nurses, technologists, and administrators, you will participate in treatment and imaging planning, perform equipment calibrations and quality assurance testing, verify dose calculations, and help optimize imaging protocols to balance image quality and patient safety. You will evaluate and commission new equipment and software, maintain detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and support compliance with state and federal radiation safety requirements. The Physicist will also provide technical consultation on complex clinical cases, support radiation safety training and education for staff, and contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes. You will be encouraged to engage in clinical research, data analysis, and the implementation of new technologies and techniques, leveraging Community Medical Center’s advanced technology and collaborative, learning-focused culture.
