Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an QA Tester for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Southlake, TX(Hybrid). This role requires deep expertise in QA automation and advanced testing frameworks to ensure reliable, secure business operations.


Rate Range: $43/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


QA Tester job responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing comprehensive API, UI, scheduled job, and database test cases to ensure endtoend quality of applications.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated test scripts for webenabled applications to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Supporting Cyber Security tools and platforms-including Identity and Access Management solutions-to validate secure and reliable system performance.
• Collaborating within Agile teams using tools like JIRA to manage test cases, track defects, and ensure timely delivery of highquality releases.
• Partnering with crossfunctional teams to communicate testing results, technical issues, and risk assessments to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Applying advanced QA methodologies and best practices to strengthen testing frameworks, improve processes, and enhance overall software quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on QA engineering experience with progressive testing responsibilities.
• Experience with test automation development for webenabled applications (8+ years preferred).

Nice to have:

• Background supporting Cyber Security tools/platforms such as Identity & Access Management, Zscaler, SailPoint IIQ, PING ID, or HYPR).

Pay Details: $43.00 to $44.00 per hour
