LifeBridge Health is seeking a Research Fellow to join our Scientific Research & Development department within our Healthcare & Medical Services enterprise in Maryland. In this role, you will contribute to clinically focused and translational research projects that advance compassionate, evidence-based patient care across our continuum of hospitals, specialty centers, and community health operations. Working closely with principal investigators, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams, you will design and execute research protocols, perform comprehensive literature reviews, develop hypotheses, and assist in drafting study proposals and IRB submissions. The Research Fellow will collect, manage, and analyze clinical and laboratory data using statistical software, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with institutional, federal, and ethical guidelines. Responsibilities include coordinating study activities, preparing study documentation, supporting patient or participant recruitment and informed consent processes as appropriate, and maintaining accurate and secure research records. You will contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for conferences and peer-reviewed journals, and may assist with grant applications and progress reports. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across specialties, participate in quality improvement and outcomes research, and help translate research findings into innovations that improve health outcomes in diverse communities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, familiarity with clinical or biomedical research methods, and proficiency with tools such as Excel, REDCap, and statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R). A commitment to ethical research conduct, continuous learning, and teamwork is essential.
