Senior District Business Manager – Princeton, NJ Location: US Field – Princeton, NJ Therapeutic Area: Cardiovascular Position Summary The Senior District Business Manager (DBM) leads, coaches, and motivates a team of approximately six to ten Territory Account Specialists (TASs) to drive the adoption of the BMS Cardiovascular portfolio and generate demand. The DBM is accountable for coaching TASs on specific learning objectives, ensuring continuous improvement in core skills, and championing the utilization of new digital capabilities and tools such as Medical on Call and CE^3. Key Responsibilities Coach TASs on scientific agility, customer/commercial mindset, change agility, patient mindset, digital agility, and analytical mindset. Own the learning journey for TASs and ensure continuous improvement in core skills and behaviors. Model and promote the use of new digital capabilities (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization) and coach TASs on leveraging insights for call planning. Lead strategic planning activities including promo program planning, budget planning, and priority setting at the HCP level. Ensure continuous improvement of customer experience and lead financial/program planning for the district. Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Access, and other field roles to address customer needs and meet sales targets. Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least five years of pharmaceutical (or related) industry experience. Prior experience as a District Business Manager or in leading and managing high‑performing teams in pharmaceutical sales. Strong preference for experience in pharma with understanding of reimbursement, access, and distribution environments. Proven track record of inspiring, leading, and retaining teams to meet or exceed business goals. Analytical, selling, and business acumen skills with working knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain. Driver eligibility: As this position requires the operation of a company‑provided vehicle, candidates must meet BMS’s Qualified Driver requirements (at least 21 years of age, valid driver’s license in good standing, and acceptable driving risk level). Compensation Overview Base salary: $168,130 – $203,734 (Field – United States). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility.
