Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Investment Operations Contractor in San Antonio, TX. Summary: We are looking for a Senior Investment Operations Contractor to support middle office functions within an asset management environment. This role is focused on hands-on execution of daily operational processes, issue resolution, and supporting ongoing operational initiatives. Key Tasks:

• Perform security master setup and maintenance, ensuring accuracy of data for new and existing instruments
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processing, including trade capture, settlements, and post-trade activities
• Execute trade and cash reconciliations, researching and resolving breaks in a timely manner
• Investigate data and system discrepancies and escalate more complex issues as needed
• Coordinate with traders, portfolio managers, custodians, and internal operations teams to resolve day-to-day issues
• Ensure adherence to risk, control, and audit standards through accurate processing and documentation
• Perform data entry and validation of transaction details such as trade dates, settlement dates, quantities, prices, and cash amounts
• Maintain simple tracking logs, checklists, and exception reports to monitor operational tasks and outstanding items
• Provide support for investment operations across asset management back-office processes, including securities processing and settlements
• Assist with investment securities setup and ongoing reference and static data maintenance
• Support daily processing of equity and fixed income transactions, including stocks, bonds, repurchase agreements, and private credit
• Perform trade and settlement reconciliations and assist with daily cash and payment processing
• Execute transaction processing, data entry, exception handling, and routine operational tasks to support day-to-day investment activities
• High School diploma/GED or 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, investment operations, or financial services administration
• Proficiency with Blackrock Aladdin, PAM for Investments, Excel, and Tableau
• Operations support mindset: comfortable with routine, process-driven, and detail-heavy work
• Reliability: accuracy, consistency, and follow-through
