Senior Mid-Market Account Manager

The Senior Mid-Market Account Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service and strategic guidance to a portfolio of mid-market commercial clients. This position sits at the intersection of client advocacy, technical expertise, and collaboration, partnering closely with Account Executives and internal teams to drive successful renewals, retention, and growth.

As a senior member of the Commercial Lines Service team, you will take ownership of complex accounts, anticipate client needs, and help shape account strategies that support long term success. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact by strengthening client relationships, supporting revenue goals, and mentoring through example in a fast paced, client focused environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring one to three days per week in our Worcester Massachusetts, Boston Massachusetts, Guilford Connecticut, or Glastonbury Connecticut offices.

Your Impact:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Account Executives and clients by managing and supporting complex mid-market commercial accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate the renewal process, including preparation of submissions, exposure summaries, proposals, coverage summaries, and binding documentation.
  • Proactively identify client needs, coverage considerations, and opportunities for account expansion or enhancement.
  • Prepare loss exhibits, obtain loss runs, and support informed risk placement decisions.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency by ensuring documentation is complete and current within agency management systems.
  • Oversee quality control of policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, and claims related documentation.
  • Monitor account performance and contribute to retention and growth through thoughtful, proactive service.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Five or more years of experience in a Property and Casualty brokerage environment, with strong commercial lines knowledge.
  • Confidence managing client relationships and supporting account strategy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfort working with data, documentation, and agency management systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to take direction while working independently.
  • Active insurance licenses or the willingness to obtain required licenses with company support.
