Hiring Immediately Experienced Sushi Chef

Walk-in to interview with a manager on Monday to Thursday between 1:00pm - 4:00pm. We are located at 7014 E Camelback Rd. #559.

What youll do:

• Must have 2+ year in scratch sushi bar/restaurant
• Knowledge of sushi style fish fabrication & storage
• Knowledge of sushi rice cooking, seasoning, and preparation
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and seasonal specials, perfect your knife skills, and handle product responsibly to minimize waste
• You have an eye for detail and youre comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean, and be able to detect and identify safety issues.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
