TIG Welder $20 - $26/hr | Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accurate assembly. Prepare materials for welding, ensuring surfaces are clean and free of contaminants. Ensure quality and strength of welds by performing inspection and testing. Adhere to safety regulations and standards, including OSHA regulations. Utilize various welding machines and tools efficiently and safely. Minimize distortion or warping through appropriate welding techniques. Essential Skills Experience with MIG and TIG welding. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to pass a simple math test involving decimals and measurements. Capability to work 50 hours per week. Possession of personal welding helmet and gloves. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with welding various materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. Experience in different welding positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. Understanding of OSHA regulations and other safety standards related to welding. Why Work Here?
