Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, and seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Assistant

Position: Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Louisville, KY

Duration: 3-6 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!!!

Pay rate: $19/hr

Note:

• ONSITE role.
• Work schedule: 40 hours/ week | Mon-Fri2:00PM-10:30PM
• Once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License .

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Employees will be picking and packing individual prescription orders for direct to patient shipment. Employees will need to be able to follow on screen prompts to ensure all orders are both picked and packed according to program specifications.
• These tasks will require a keen attention to detail. There may be occasional mandatory overtime necessary in order to complete the daily workload.
• Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center.
• Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping.
• Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals; and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Processes orders for shipping
• Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
• Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
• Loads product into truck
• Complies with policies, procedures and SOP’s
• Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Shared ICARE principles
• Job Requirements
• Pharmacy Assistant certification
• Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds
